How To Style Yourself For Your Next Job Interview

What you wear to a job interview is super important.

You need to be dressed in a way that shows your personality, that’s polished and you need to be in an outfit that’s on point with the workplace culture.  Here are some tips to help you style yourself for your next job interview

Show your personality

You don’t want to be dressing up and feeling like a fake.  Let your personality shine through.  If being in a corporate suit isn’t for you then you probably shouldn’t be interviewing for a role that is going to require you dress in one everyday.

Dress in line with the culture of the company

If you were interviewing at Google you would wear something different to if you were interviewing at Goldman Sachs.  This isn’t rocket science but you would be surprised at how many people still suit up for roles in a more creative or casual environments (and vice versa).   Research the company and find out what their employees wear to work.  Be on the conservative side if you’re not sure though.

Wear a statement piece

If you have a statement or signature piece that defines your style then you should wear it.  If you have a fantastic necklace, pair of boots or a killer blazer and you feel confident in it then be sure to wear it.

Wear your smile, show your strengths and know that you have totally got this!

Styling for an interview wouldn’t be complete without a smile, a focus on your strengths and a good dose of self-belief J

By being the best version of you and feeling confident in your outfit I am sure you will be amazing in your next job interview.  If you have any other tips for interview styling please reach out to us at
